My journey to helping women thrive started from a place of deep loss. At 13, my world shifted when I lost my mom to lung cancer - she was only 47. As a young girl trying to make sense of grief, I turned to food for comfort. Life had more challenges in store, and I later faced the devastating losses of both my dad to stroke complications and my brother to suicide. Each loss taught me profound lessons about resilience and the vital importance of caring for ourselves - body, mind, and spirit.
In 2022, life threw me another curveball. A freak ski accident left me with ruptured achilles tendons. Suddenly, I found myself in a wheelchair, facing the daunting task of learning to walk again. This experience, though incredibly challenging, became one of my greatest teachers. It showed me what we're truly capable of when we refuse to give up, and it deepened my understanding of how to rebuild ourselves - step by step, day by day.
Through all of these challenges, I've learned that prioritizing our wellbeing isn't selfish - it's essential. I've discovered that even in our darkest moments, we have the power to choose how we show up for ourselves. Life has taught me that we're meant for more than just getting by; we're meant to truly thrive. This isn't just positive thinking - it's a truth I've lived. Now, I'm here to walk alongside you as you navigate your own path to feeling vibrant and alive again. Because if there's one thing I know for certain, it's that it's never too late to find your spark.
